After nearly two decades as a managing director, Alexander decided in 2021 to apply his extensive experience to technical due diligence consulting for machinery and plant engineering. At the beginning of 2021, he sold his successful automation company, which he had built since 2003.

Since 2021, he is working as a technical consultant for machinery and plant engineering companies. During this time, he has supported businesses in optimizing production processes, developing automation strategies, and implementing technical innovations.

Since 2024, he has increasingly focused on technical due diligence in the M&A sector. He analyzes machinery and automation companies for investors and business owners. His restructuring proposals lead to successful optimization for both the investor and the acquired company.
